Dear Jonathan,
a fid is really a small thing. Easy to oversee and to forget. And cheap. But to have a tool you use nearly every day, which is a unique piece – individual and one of a kind – is a total different story. If I can effort it, I’d always prefer such a handmade piece of art instead of something industrial made. Your fids ARE affordable (especially when you think, how often you have to re buy it – in case you don’t loose it – never!), have style & character and are more than handy. A piece of nature. So what for could one ask more?
